Jellyfish

½ hours lessons for babies 6 months + with parent in the water

Our Jellyfish Lessons provide a fun, safe environment for your child to be introduced to the water for the first time. Lessons are planned to encourage one on one bonding, body awareness and social interaction through singing, playing and moving in the water.

Babies can learn to develop their natural instinct to hold their breath using word association. This teaches the baby to hold their breath when their face makes contact with water. As your baby progresses and builds water confidence independence is encouraged in fun activities that aim to teach basic swimming skills.

Please make sure babies and toddlers are fed at least 30 minutes prior to lessons. This means that they can enjoy their lessons and help reduce the risk of any accidents happening.

All babies need to wear a swimming nappy. There are disposable ones available but we recommend reusable nappies, which we have for sale at Swim Evolution.
